Second card for LIM this week

Iwas only going to make one for this week, at Less is More, but then came across these three images upon my computer, when put together make almost a square. So how could I not do another one.
Sentiment is computer generated.

An order of four...... Less is more?

The first one I have entered into the less is more challenge this week, less the flowers. I thought the flowers just finished it off, especially as it was an anniversary card. I actually find myself adding less and less to my cards since starting these challenges.
This next one I tried making the flower Viv (Daizy-Mae) did a tut for. I got half way through it and my heatgun burnt out, so had to buy a new one to finish it off lol. I love it though, i think it's very classy!!

I even resisted adding flowers to this one. (L I M again) I think it would have been just too much!

And lastly for a little boy who's one soon!

Thanks for looking

Two cards for a 9 yr old boy

The first one...........the base card is from the clipart fairy's Boyz trendz. The digi image is from Kenny K and is just what the customer wanted The next card is also from the clipart fairy and is a slider card, made into an easel card

Anniversary Card for LIM challenge

Amazing isn't it? This happened last Bank holiday too, all of a sudden I have a load of card orders coming in...............6 yesterday........So I've found myself busy this morning. And as one of them would siut the Less is More challenge I thought I would give this a go. I will probably end up adding a few flowers in one corner though.

Butterflies butterflies, at L I M this week

Butterflies galore this week at Less is More.......................my favourite, especially when printed onto acetate.
Frame was computer generated as was the swirl. Butterflies printed onto acetate and applied with silicone.
I had to make a card for Eileen so decided to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.

Guess who's been spending again?

I had no choice really...........I'd gone into The Clipart Fairy's website to buy the blue cross for the Christening card in the last post. As you have to spend £2 and her prices are so reasonable I had no option but to buy more. lol Well that's my excuse!! So I bought this little number, (plus some more) and made two cards for two friends who's birthdays are in July....................Well I had to try it out!!

Two baby cards

For the same little baby. I'd finished them both and realised I hadn't put the date of birth on, which I like to do. I wonder if it will get noticed?

Less is More Week 15

Not my favourite week this week.at Less is More. I am not into stamping......I have said this before, but saying that I do have some bits and pieces left from when I tried it.

I remembered a while ago someone said if you print onto pearlised card and heat emboss quickly before the ink dried, you 'd get the same result as stamping. So that is what I did with the image. It is from debbi Moore's cd 100 beautiful silhouettes. I embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I then partially embossed with a Crafts too embossing folder in the cuttlebug.

Getting ahead with my June Cards

My hubby retires in two weeks time..........he has taken voluntary severance..........so he's retiring a year early. I'm not sure how I feel about it at the moment, but I know him and he'll want to go out and about to start with. We also have a holiday booked in June ............so.............I thought I had better get my June cards sorted now.

The retirment card is for him........not from me, from a friend. It'll suit him down to the ground. He is never still for 5 minutes

He He Vroom Vroom

I have been waiting for this particular Digi image to come out. I knew the perfect recipient. He rides a mobility scooter and is always game for a laugh. I saw this sentiment on someone elses card, and knew exactly what I was making John this year! You can find the image HERE

Oh how I hate doing these!

These are to go with the order of wedding cards on the last post. I just hate doing these now - she has so many - and they are always in pink or black!!
I think she may be getting them early as hubby retires in 3 weeks time, and won't be able to deliver them to his works anymore!
Downside is she says she will order them and pick them up. lol

Three wedding cards

Plus one more to do for a 50th birthday. The customer always asks for a bra and pants card, she must have oodles of friends who are 50 this year!!

L I M card 2

I promised myself I would only do one card this week for the Less is More challenge, but we have a new challenge on the Crafters Reunited forum so I thought this card would do for both of them. The forum card is to be no larger than 3.5" that is why the ruler is in the pic to prove the size. the front of the card is attached at the back and the card front made to stand off the card with a cleverly folded piece of card folded like a little concertina.
the aperture was die cut with the smallest Nellie Snellen circle die and eight tiny flowers punched out, and placed around with a tiny pearl in each centre.
